Arlene Koszorek, Canadian born artist, residing in the Greater Toronto Area, began painting when her son went off to University and had time on her hands. Altough she does not have any formal art education she has participated in many classes and workshops held by many well known, prominent, local artists such as Valerie Kent, Herbert Pryke, Marianne Broome and Jill Segal. She works in watercolour and acrylic in both representational and abstract formants. Her paintings instil a profound feeling in the viewer that touches an inner chord. Her most recent work in acrylic on canvas supports sweeps wide expanses over fields of colour and the viewer is able, like a master skier or sky diver, to move between heaven and earth.
